storytelling through movement
Brandon has always been very physically active. He would perform acrobatic stunts with his brothers at home while his mom held a tape recorder on her shoulder. Gregory used his athleticism to play every sport that was available to him growing up and what he learned about his abilities, he incorporated into performance through dance.
From the living room floor, the playground, to the ball field… and now he does it on stage.
The difference between sport and dance for Brandon is that dance asks him to reveal a full range of emotions through movement while sports just asked him to push his body to its limits to win.
Dance helps BDG tell the stories that mean so much to him.
